Tosa Farmers Market
June 24 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm CST
An event every week that begins at 8:00am on Saturday, repeating until October 14, 2017
Tosa Farmers Market, a project of the Fire Fly Foundation, Ltd., is a volunteer-run open air market that brings locally-grown fruits and vegetables and foods crafted by Wisconsin artisans directly to the people of Wauwatosa and surrounding communities. TFM embraces a “buy local” ethos that fosters a greener, more sustainable city, bringing the community together in the process. In addition to organizing a weekly farmers market in the city of Wauwatosa, the TFM promotes environmental stewardship among Wauwatosans, providing opportunities to area citizens to learn more about health, nutrition, and sustainability.
The Tosa Farmers Market is located in the Hart’s Mills parking lot, situated along the Oak Leaf bike trail and the Menomonee River, in the Village of Wauwatosa . Free parking is available in the large parking lot behind the historic Little Red Store, and across the river by pedestrian bridge in Hart Park. This location was was selected because of its close proximity to the Wauwatosa Village shopping district, three bus stops, the Oak Leaf Trail bike path, and several Wauwatosa neighborhoods. It is easily accessible from several major highways and is within a mile of Milwaukee’s city limits and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
Tosa Farmers Market is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors, made up of Wauwatosa residents who care passionately about supporting local agriculture and business. We are a well-connected community with big city amenities and a close-knit, small-town vibe. We value simple, fresh, organic living and support the arts. We’re a highly pedestrian community. On any given day through the spring, summer, and fall, there are as many folks walking and biking on our streets as there are in cars driving through. We feel that this combination of unique factors makes Wauwatosa uniquely positioned to have a highly successful outdoor market.
MAKERS MARKET 2017
On the first Saturday of each month you’ll find the Makers Market in the East Lot of the Market. The Makers Market features the work of local artists and crafters who sell their one-of-a-kind handmade goods.

We emphasize the word VOLUNTEERS, as it is they who make it all happen on a weekly basis. For more information see Volunteer.
This summer Wauwatosa is working on The Village / State Street Streetscaping Project. For updates on road closures and detours please see their website here.
