Potluck dinner and discussion – Hippie Food by Jonathan Kauffman

Join us to share a potluck dinner, watch short videos and have a discussion of how the counterculture of the 1960’s and 1970’s changed the way we eat.
Based on Jonathan Kauffman’s research for his book “Hippie Food”, we’ll learn the stories of how the colorful counterculture spread brown rice, whole-wheat bread, sprouts and soybeans across the country and influenced what we eat today.
All are welcome to join us – the event is free and no pre-registration is required.
